The Art of Chicken Massage
Have you ever heard of the chicken massage? It’s a very unique massage style in which the masseuse will rub the patient’s body parts with chicken tendons, or “noodle” style. I’ve never been sure what the purpose of this massage is, although it seems to be very soothing to the touch. This massage technique comes from the Japanese and Chinese cultures, but has also been used by many other cultures. So how does chicken massage work?
In order to perform this massage, the masseuse will place their fingers in the area and use the tip of the finger as well as the thumb on each finger in turn moving back and forth along the chicken tendons, or “noodle.” In my experience, if done correctly, the pressure will be distributed evenly throughout the whole area. The key is getting the right position and avoiding rubbing the pressure from one point to another. For instance, I think the best massage would be done on the lower back, left side, and front. One of the reasons that I feel most effective for this type of massage is that my muscles are so loose and comfortable that they almost don’t even realize what is happening.
To begin, the masseuse will place their hands on your upper thighs, lower back, shoulders, and buttocks. From there they will move in a circular motion over your muscles, applying slight pressure. This circular motion will stimulate the blood flow in your body. It will also help relax your muscles and rid them of excess tension, which makes you feel more relaxed.
It’s a good idea to get a small amount of oil on your fingertips for lubrication purposes. Start at the bottom of your chicken and continue your downward strokes until all of the chicken has been rubbed. Make sure you rub the skin. If you do not, then you may be rubbing too hard, and this could cause skin irritation. Continue this process up until your chicken is fully covered in oil.
Now it’s time to work your way up. Begin by working your hands up to your shoulder blades. Then rub down your chicken tendons with more pressure. Make sure that you cover every inch of the tendons with oil. After you have finished this procedure, it’s time to move onto the breast area of your chicken.
Start at the head of your chicken and move downward. While you are working your hands up to the shoulder blades, rub your hands on the sides and the back of your chicken. After this, apply even more pressure and continue up to your rib cage. You can use the pressure points that you discovered during your chicken massage therapy to target problems areas for the best results. Once you are done, your chicken will feel relaxed, balanced, and stress free.
